A computer replacement part is a very vague term. Replacement part can mean anything including the outside parts of your computer to the inside parts of the computer.

Throughout my life I have owned many different computers. My first computer was a Tandy 1000 that used the big 5 1/4 disks. I remember getting it for Christmas one year and it probably cost my parents a good chunk of their budget money. It was the greatest thing in the world to have a computer. I think I messed it up so bad after the first week we had to take it back to the store and have software repairs preformed, but that's part of learning.

Since that first computer over 20 years ago I have owned probably over 10 computers and right now have a laptop and 3 personal computers, 2 of which are sitting in my office unused. The price of computers and computer parts have dropped drastically over the past 20 years and buying a computer is no longer a major purchase for many people. I personally haven't bought all those computers, many have been given to me because someone bought a new one and didn't know what to do with their old one.

Let's get to my point of the article before I get too side tracked, replacement parts for computers. With the speed that technology advances many people will never have to experience the need to replace parts in their computers. If you want to stay up to date on current technology you will have to purchase a new computer every 2 or 3 years anyway.

Computer replacement parts can easily be purchased from online computer part stores and you can save tons of money. The major parts of your computer that could have problems and need to be replaced include the CPU, memory, hard drive, video card, sound card and motherboard. The first three are very simple to replace and can be fixed in a matter of minutes. The motherboard is a little more work but is still attainable even for a novice.
